The Story
Rock & Pop Thrift Shop started as me finally admitting I had way too many music things lying around. Old band tees, vinyl sleeves, random guitar pedals, tour posters, quirky decor – all stuffed into cupboards instead of being enjoyed.

Instead of letting everything collect dust, I decided to treat it like a low-key, personal thrift corner. I’m just a rock and pop fan based around Serangoon Central, slowly clearing my own collection and mixing in interesting finds along the way.

This isn’t a big company or a slick retail setup. It’s a one-person, hobby-style shop where everything is chosen because I think it’s cool, useful or has some kind of story behind it.
Selection of rock and pop themed used items and musical gear on display
Rock & Pop Thrift Shop is casual and straightforward: no fancy shipping system, no over-the-top markups, no pressure. I share used pieces that still have life in them, and if you see something you like, you reach out and we work out the details together.

Think of it as browsing a friend’s music room – with the option to actually take something home.
Where the items come from
Most pieces you see here started out in my own shelves, drawers or practice space. Over time, I’ve added interesting finds from friends clearing their homes and from local second-hand spots around town.

I only pick up items that feel like they fit the rock and pop vibe – whether that’s a slightly worn-in band hoodie, a practice amp, or a quirky decor piece that looks like it belongs in a rehearsal room or bedroom studio.
How things are checked
Before anything is listed, I give it a simple, honest check:

  • For clothing and soft items, I look at overall condition, obvious stains or damage, and general wear.
  • For instruments and gear, I plug in or test basic functions to make sure they turn on and do what they are supposed to do.
  • For decor and lifestyle items, I check that they are complete, usable and not falling apart.

You won’t get exaggerated claims – if something has quirks or cosmetic wear, I’ll mention it so you know what to expect.
Why buying used matters
Every pre-loved item that finds a new home is one less thing headed straight for the bin or stuck in storage forever. Buying used saves materials, energy and packaging that would go into yet another brand-new product.

It’s a small move, but when you pick up a second-hand tee, pedal or poster, you’re stretching the life of something that’s already been made.
Keeping cool pieces in circulation
Rock & pop culture is meant to be seen, heard and lived with – not hidden away. This shop is my way of keeping good pieces moving: from my room to yours, from your old setup to someone else’s new favorite gear.

Instead of buying decor just for the “aesthetic”, you can grab something with history and character and keep it in the loop a little longer.
Where to go next
If you’ve scrolled this far, you probably vibe with the mix of rock, pop and second-hand finds.

Next steps:
  • Check out the Items page to see what’s currently available.
  • Hop into the Gallery for a more visual look at the pieces.
  • Read the How to Buy page so you know how meet-ups and payments work.
  • When you’re ready, hit the Contact page and reach out by WhatsApp, call or email.

I’m based around Serangoon Central, so most deals happen via meet-up in that area or nearby.
